Quick arrest in alleged child molestation case in Ubon

UBON RATCHATHANI:-- Authorities have made a quick arrest in the case of an eight year old girl who they say was taken from her home into local woods and molested, reports Thaivisa News.

A nearby motorcycle mechanic known to the little girl for years is in police custody and has been charged. He denies the charges.

The 34 year old father of "Wan", a name given by police, had been alerted by a relative who lives near their house in Warin Chamrap district of Ubon Province, that a serious crime had taken place.

The delivery man rushed home to the house where he lives with his daughter and her elder brother. The girl had been home alone while he was out working. He took his daughter to the police to report what had happened.

"Wan" told officers that a man she calls Tang, otherwise known as Narongsak Bangsaen-orn,34, who she has known since she was little, invited her for a ride to the local market to help him carry some things. Instead, she said, he drove into some secluded woods. After realising it was not the way to the market she tried to run away but alleged that Tang grabbed her arm, then molested her for five minutes.

After this, she said that Tang took her home and told her under no circumstances was she to tell anyone what had happened.

As soon as the father was alerted by a cousin he went home and reported to the police with his daughter.

Police immediately went to the motorcycle repair shop just 200 metres from Their house and made the arrest. Police said that Tang admitted to taking the little girl for a ride on his bike but he did nothing wrong to her and took her home afterwards.

Police are confident that they can prove their case. They say they have a solid and believable witness and that the little girl's story of where she was taken stands up to scrutiny.

A hastily arranged press conference attended by many high ranking officials was organised to inform the public that an arrest had been made in the case.

Tang has been charged and remanded in custody.

Corporal punishment is most likely a better way. 20 lashes with barbed wire should to the job , forward facing though...................But because this person is from the same community and has seen that little girl growing up , you are most likely correct.

For many years,i used to use a certain pub on beach road.We had,had a newbie coming in for a couple of days.I got talking to him because he was from my part of London.He told me he was a surgeon at Guys hospital and previously had been( in his earlier days) a doctor,on call,for the Met Police.He seemed a nice enough guy and for a couple of weeks,we got about a bit,Walking street,Soi 6 etc.One night i had arranged to meet him at another certain expat bar.I got there before him. i was half way through a frosty when he arrived.He sat down and looked visibly shaken. He told me to finish up my drink and that i should meet him,a bit further down the road.I said i would.When i arrived at our new destination,i asked him what the problem was.He told me that sitting in the bar was a guy,that he recognised from a number of years back.He was called out to examine the guys genitals after he had been arrested for raping a boy of 10 years old.He was worried that the guy would recognise him.i asked him if he was sure,he said he was.

The thing is,that what are the odds on this happening?100's to 1 i would think.

But it just goes to show,that,they are here! and this guy was as free as a bird,Michael(that was the doc's name)said,he probably got out on early release. How he got to Thailand was a mystery,but he was here.

So it just show's you.You never know who you are drinking with.

I don't know the full in's and out's of it,Michael wouldnt talk about it.But i swear this is true,believe me or not?its up to you.

Nothing is impossible and thanks for sharing the story. I remember when a one legged German guy who was HIV positive infected quite a few girls and women through unprotected sex ( sounds weird, I know) was being deported.

The guy refused to give a blood test and each and every day he was held in a police cell, more and more women with HIV, or already developed AIDS claimed that they had unprotected sex with this man. All in a sudden there were 450 girls and women who said that they had sex with him.

The guy got deported and blacklisted, but was back somewhere in middle Isaan after only two weeks. Immigration then argued that they had a computer problem.

Like many child molestation case i hope he does not last long in prison. He is sick and will answer to sick people!
