October 30, 200619 yr I am an Australian. After a recent trip to Vietnam and Laos my passport does not have any blank pages left with the exception of the 'Observations' page which is empty. I am travelling to Australia early next year and I will get a new passport there but where do I put my 're-entry' form I must get prior to leaving Thailand? Can I have it on a separate piece of paper? I am aware that I can get a replacement passport in Bangkok but I live in Mae Hong Son and Bangkok is two days away and they will not issue a new passport through the post, I must go BKK to apply.and I do not fancy a trip to the sticky city if it can be avoided. Thanks for any help...
October 30, 200619 yr Unless your passport is about to expire then you can get more pages added into your existing passport but I still think that requires a trip to your embassy. Not sure a peace of paper attached to your passport is sufficient and it may come down to the discretion of your friendly immigration officer and they may just say that this is a case of poor forward planning on your behalf which isn't their problem to help fix. A trip to sticky Bonking Bangers may just well be on the cards for you unfortunately.
October 30, 200619 yr Author Thanks Casanundra, I suppose I could make the application for a visa for the missus at the same time and get some more decent tea from Little India, might fly down and I my even enjoy the big smoke!
