Registering A Lease/usufruct

Featured Replies

I hope to register a Lease, perhaps a Usufruct (still considering that) during my next visit to Thailand.

But I'll be on a 30 day torusit visa.

Anyone any experience of this. Does it matter or do I need a Non Immigrant Visa to register my lease?

If you recently registered a lease, did the land registery ask to see your visa? Or was your passport all they wanted to see?

I'm unlikely to be back in Thailand on an Non Immigrant Visa until the end of 2007, and I'd like to get the lease OR usufruct registered before some new change to the rules comes up.

Visa is not a requirement

Thanks for a prompt reply Sunbelt.

I was just about to send payment for the lawyer's services when the thought went through my mind 'What haven't I thought of?'
