Anyone know of, or is using a free personal financial software program for Windows? Looking for an alternative to having to purchase Microsoft Money or Quicken.

Believe buying an old version of either of these would beat any other product. Old versions are often nearly free. Even current versions are often heavily discounted.

Take a look at www.download.com and search for "personal financial" then filter for Free software.

That search gives 10 pages of free programs like "Financial Planner (Personal) 2.6.6" to download. You may find one that suits your needs among them.

Micrsoft Money is hard to beat. I have used it for years. It came bundled with a computer I bought years ago so I'm sure that it would be very cheap to buy.

I just looked at the disk and it is Money 2000.

There are a number of free programs onthis link;

I download a lot of things from this site and never had any problems.
