Best bet is to go to the windows update site and get it to do a re-install. It should do a proper uninstall beforhand and that will take care of the problem.

Nope, Never Microslush software if there is a viable alternative. I use Firefox. In the crappy websites written so poorly they only display correct in MSIE I use the "change rendering engine" option in Firefox (using MS rendering engine) for that one site.
