A fire broke out in the forest near Wat Phra That Doi Kham today around 2:30 p.m. Firefighters rushed to the scene to battle the fire and a helicopter from the Royal Rainmaking Project was dropping water onto the flames that are creeping closer to the temple.

there is a whole lot of rubbish in the bush around the temple so the bush fire will turn into a dump fire

Meanwhile residents were spotted out with their binoculars to check the license plate of the helicopter. (The temple where everyone goes for "the numbers")

Could see it quite clearly from Canal Rd.Thankfully no wind otherwise the whole mountain would go up.

41 degrees at our place.More heat to come apparently.
