Looking at a possible move in the near future. Looking for a reliable / decent removalist.

Last time we had a guy lined up and at the last minute told us he had to go to hospital (aka got a better offer). We then had to take someone else at the last moment and he turned up in a normal open truck, no ramps, no trolley...no idea how to load the truck. Only by the grace of god nothing was damaged badly. Truck was a bit small at 6m too. He didn't even want to help physically move the stuff either and we had to hand unload everything on and off the truck. Last time I ended up doing a few trips myself back and forth in the pick up with the stuff that wouldn't fit but wont want to be doing that to CR. Shame they don't rent trailers here same they do in Australia / the States. Infact I don't think I've ever seen a trailer, even a small one on the back of a pick up / car here or someone selling towbars. That would have to be a good business opportunity!

Don't have a ton of stuff, washing machine, fridge, Sofa, some furniture and tea chests of general stuff but enough to fill a truck. Anyone know a reliable professional removalist at a decent price?

I would suggest searching at your point of origin in Khon Kaen. Shipping agents will deliver anywhere in Thailand for a price. We just had a large table shipped from Chiang Mai yesterday and have done this several times with furniture in the past. Fortunately the shop usually gets a couple of quotes for us to choose from.

You don’t need a Chiang Rai based company to help you with your move. The largest town near you should have several companies to choose from.
