carmine
Sorted. Mourinho does the football. Abramovich signs the cheques. This side isn't really going to need a coach. Least of all Mourinho getting involved and spoiling the quality of football. Better just to let Oscar and his teammates get on with it. Minimum requirement should be the league title

uptheos
Costa failed to register a single shot, while Torres, Lukaku and Eto'o didn't either... so, will the Spain striker misfire for Chelsea?
P45Mustang
Good question. Unproven in the Prem, but he worked fine with Simeone at At Mad. Can't conclude too much from WC with del Bosque, I don't think. Lukaku, Eto'o, Torres, looking to go. Ba? off the radar. My guess is Mourinho will sign another heavy duty striker as well as Costa. Cos he needs more than one anyway.

Better to focus on his thirty-six goals for Athletico when he was fit.

P45Mustang
Anyway. After a very disappointing end to the Group stage in the World Cup, I am briefly returning to the relative sanctuary of the Chelsea Thread. These are my hopes going forward: Chelsea players at the WC do themselves proud and avoid injury. We see some fantastic football in Brazil, and I want our old boy Scolari to become a hero on home turf. Mourinho to complete a brilliant inspired summer transfer window. If van Gaal proves he is sh1t hot with the Dutch and gets UNITED motoring, bring it on. Chelsea FC to take the EPL by storm. Happy July and August, because June has been a bit of a mare. Jogo Bonito.
