CityNews – A representative from the Public Relations Office Chiang Mai informed police about a Facebook Hacker who had managed to trick people into paying him over 7,000 baht in money while posing as the genuine account holder.

On May 24, the representative of Duangmal Srikitwilaikul, Director of the Public Relations Office Chiang Mai, informed police that a hacker had tricked friends of Duangmal to send them money via a code from a pre-paid money card.

I can locate the hackers exact location and ip address they used to do this. Sadly the police will not be able to do this as i have seen what they are capable of already. so this will not go anywhere. you have better chances at using the computer crimes act. which will put your request with the important ones. Dont ever let a thai police man help you do this.

What if the person used a VPN or proxy to connect? Highly unlikely they would have hacked from their real IP address

...sounds interesting...no mention of what goods or services were involved.....???

I assume the real owner has something tangible to prove her claims? Not that I am saying she is just making a story up but unless there is some hard evidence how can it be demonstrated hacking actually took place?
