St Mirren up for sale for 12 quid a month!

Featured Replies

A fan-led buyout of St Mirren FC in Scotland is currently being attempted.

If you have any interest, go to www.smisa.net and sign up! It's only 12 quid a month, which is less than the cost of a large Pizza from Pizza Company!

They only need another 300 people to sign up to complete the deal. The members get to elect a director to the Board.

Or maybe there's another Thai company that wants to do a 'Leicester' on the Scottish Premiership?

Let me get this straight. You want us to pay 12 quid a month to elect a director to the board of St Mirren. Do you think that we all know the potential directors of St Mirren football club and could make a rational choice of one? How would we see a return on our investment? I might as well just flush 12 quid down the toilet every month!!

Obviously you would need to be a St Mirren fan, as it's not an investment! (who actually thinks 12 quid a month is an investment, lol ??!!)

exeter do a similar thing, trust members pay from 3 £ a month upwards to the trust and the trust then helps finance the club, fan 'owned' clubs

good thing for football IMO. Portsmouth are the last one's of note i can recall doing similar,

it may have slipped your notice but there are lots of poor people around, plenty of people would be happy to be able to afford 12 £ a month.
