The first batch my wife caught were too small to eat. They filled two large plastic buckets. They set there a couple of days and when walking past them, they smelled like a dead animal. She finally took them to the pond and the fish liked them. I couldn't believe that could smell that bad. Even the chickens wouldn't eat them.

I sometimes use crickets to make flour, but termites aren't for me. Props to you guys who can stomach them.
