The company, founded in 2004, rose to become the largest e-bus company in the U.S., representing nearly 40% of the market prior to going belly-up. Other countries make it work. why always thai women pay at the cashier?
@Andycoops nailed it. Thai women may not be great at money management, but leave it to a Thai man and the money is wasted on booze and whores within a day or two. In case of farang, in many cases what you see is not that the farang hands over the monthly budget to the Thai wife, but he gives her money to cover small everyday expenses, because he does not want to bother. Perfectly rational, and has nothing to do with the financial arrangements in a typical Thai family.
