Region setting

Featured Replies

Is setting/changing the region setting in my Windows 10 O/S necessary? at the moment it is set to UK region but I,ve adjusted the time to Thai time, does this cause any conflict or should I set it to Thai region as I,m now living here.

No it will not.

The only thing is that for example the Store (where you can download apps) will be set to the UK one, and the weather apps set for the UK.

I have mine set for Europe also and I never have any problems.

Wont make the slightest of difference. It is just that any news, weather etc will be linked to the zone you have it set to. You can select Thailand and set the language etc to English

I found that if you set your region to Thailand then things like Google and Facebook, among many others, assume you are Thai and present their searches and logins in that language.

No impact. I set my region to U.S. but the time is set to Thailand.
