Hua Hin is growing too fast and getting too busy. Try going to beaches in Thap Sakae which is only 120 kms further south. This area is just like Samui, lush coconut plantation, beautiful and unspoiled beaches. The Swedish people seems to be the first group to discover and appreciate the beauty and serenity of this area. They're buying and building villas in the area already. Township still retains quaint and charming village atmosphere, and people are very friendly. It's only 1 hour drive from Hua Hin and 3& half hrs. from Bangkok, and you can get away from it all.

Good news for those who love water sport like windsurfing and kiteboarding. You have a feel of open water, the wind is great for sailing sports.

I agree. My wife is from Thap Sakae and it is a lovely area. Currently, we live in Huahin, but the geography is much more beautiful in the Prachuabkhirikhan Thap Sakae area. New grade A condos are being built in the area at Huay Yang
