Duplicating paint for restoration

Featured Replies

Well not technically, but I am painting my Porsche 356 and I want to get the original color matched.

All I have is some pictures. I can also go search for the origonal paint swatches online from Porsche.

Any ideas out there?

Yes, Alan, I think so.

But how to duplicate this color? Does anyone know?

If you take say the Filler Cap Cover or Chart, nearly all Motor Factors can duplicate that shade in any paint finish exactly. Base or Metalica even in small Towns.

Thanks for all the advice. By the way I did not make it clear that this is a replica,

The car is in a repair/paint shop and they don't know a shop to mix colours wacko.png
