Looking for a reputable, reliable and honest car mechanic in Hua Hin!

We have an 8 year old Mazda 3 which is well past due for a service. The aircon has also just stopped working.

Who can you recommend for us?

We've heard that there is a good mechanical workshop across from the Palace but not sure which is the good one!

Greatly appreciate any guidance forum members can provide.

the one opposite the palace, is possibly the last one before the traffic lights, heading north. The boss man is called Chai and is a good guy and a good mechanic and speaks perfect english. I know lots of people who use him.

UKJASE, many thanks for these details!
Used the Mazda service dept this time and although they were OK they cost nearly 7000 THB and english was not so good so hard to communicate and understand how the car was after they had a look at it!
Will definitely check out Khun Chai next time around.
