i remember it well,they think its all over,it is now.

Germany believed if they marked Sir Bobby out of the game by putting Beckenbauer on him they would win..................ooh no they didn,t.

as a 17 year old apprentice at the time it was delightful to go into work and tell the "old doubting codgers" who believed England had no chance of winning after the miserable first round draw against Uruguay.....I told you so.

Now in the "old codger" status myself............never mind..........at least I,ve made it cheesy.gif
