Which mobile phone provider?

Featured Replies

Hello,

I'm sure this has been covered, but I couldn't find it.

I will be moving to Samui with my family in 2 weeks :)  But I'm not sure which mobile provider to choose.  I saw that there were lots of choices at the Central Festival.  We have 2 existing phone and I would like to buy a 3rd phone under contract.  I heard that AIS is OK the best.  Is that true?

The villa I'm moving into has fibre optic from CAT.  Are they good?  I would like to use it for IPTV.

Thanks :)

I use AIS pre-paid 1-2-call any happy with that, get 4G lte.

Doubt you get a phone under contract unless you have a valid work permit.

Using 3BB fibre optic 100/10 MB and works OK for IPTV, can not comment on CAT.

AIS 1-2-call – have tried DTAC and GF also True, we stick to prepaid AIS.

If you have a confirmed address (House Book) or Work Permit, you should be able to obtain a subscription contract.

3BB, AIS & DTAC for us. I cannot remember the last time we had any probs that fell within their control.

The Electric on the other hand has more surges than the incredible hulk :)
