Can anyone tell me what the grey intermittent stripes mean on a flexible tap connector, I understand red is for hot and blue is cold and red and blue can be both but what about grey.

Never seen one, but has anyone ever noticed a grey stripe on a stainless coloured flexi?

not exactly like looking for a piece of coal in a bag of diamonds.

just to correct you on the red/blue it does not mean hot or cold, it means already mixed in a shower and should be ok for your shower hose only.

for all other water heaters the hot supply must be the red stripe only...specifically for high temps

Back to your question: not sure where you have seen them, but I thought a quick google check would resolve this quickly....not so

After a good bit of delving the only product I have found is a Chinese made flexible industrial water hose capable of delivering water to 20psi in 100m lengths.

just wonder how many of us who read flexi hose automatically think of the aluminiun braided tap connectors?
