Bar soap slowing dying out, thanks to millennials

Myself, I've got BOTH in my shower.

I like to use my Turmeric "Spa" bar soap for one of my daily showers. I use the dispensed liquid soaps for other showers and also in certain body areas we don't need to discuss even when using the bar soap. If I could get the same product in my bar soap in liquid I'd probably switch, but haven't seen it.

My biggest issue with bar soap is you have to watch that the soap tray doesn't get flooded with water between showers or it will basically MELTDOWN on you!

It's kind of like a boxers or briefs question.

Why not BOTH?

Quality ingredient bar soap in the shower. None of that Parrot brand muck.

I have a liquid soap dispenser in my kitchen and near the hand basin.

No shower gels or liquid soap in the shower.

Most females shower areas i have cause to visit, have the shower gel and body wash liquid packs

Just look on the topic you can see the poll.

I like Pears coal tar soap but at just 6 showers to the bar it didn't last long!

I prefer liquid these days but will use whatever is available inc shampoo when we're ran out.

OK, I'm seeing a sub-issue here.

Certainly Irish Spring, etc. traditional macho man bar soap brands can properly be called "old man" soaps.

But what I use ... turmeric "Spa" bar soap ... not so much, eh?

I had 2 experiences with liquid soap, both left my skin itchy, so I just use the old herbal ones they sell in the market for about 5baht each.

Also keeps the mossies off as they are not fond of the citronella smell.

Coal Tar Soap?

Not much of a marketing strategy with that name?

Hardly.  Do you remember the poster that started a thread on where to buy equipment for male personal hygiene? :D
