Dash cams

Hi I dare say this has been covered by using search I can't find any.

I am buying a new to me pick up. I have on my old pick up a very old first generation dash cam did the job for that vehicle but now want something that is of better picture quality. I don't intend to break the bank on this.there are so many out there all claiming to be this that and the other. If someone who has had first hand experiance and can highly recommend a dash cam with good picture play back quality using an SD card preferably front facing and with a rear camera set up I would be most grateful.  In the 1k to 3k bht range bracket. Thank you.

The moderator has given you the info as well. That dash cam subject has been long running, there's plenty of current info there if you'd be bothered to look. There's also this one

Have sourced the answers I was looking for from a far friendlier forum where people actually help.
