Yeah righto, the dealer would be clued up enough to change every tell <deleted>nbecause brake pedal replacement pads are always in stock at dealers pfftt

And then you get a car with 40,000k and new rubbers?

 Lets ask the OP how his pedal rubbers were at purchase then he thought the car looked like it had done 40k

Ask them for the service records. The service record book should be in the glove box. If no book then find another car.  Or you may be able to go to  a Ford dealership and ask them directly.

no car book. walk away.

 

don't make my very expensive mistake.

 

no car book is usually the first signs of serious accident or fake odo readings.

 

learnt it the hard way!!!
