I'm considering a secondment with my company that will put me in the USA for 3 months from early next year. I want my Thai girlfriend to come with me but am not sure on the visa application process and more importantly whether she can obtain a visa in that time.

I'm a UK citizen, she is Thai and although we're not married we have demonstrated that we are a defacto couple as we currently live in Sydney and have successfully applied for permanent residence based on our ongoing relationship (5+ years). This may not make any difference in her application (?). My partner is working in Sydney and we will have the support of my company in our application/flights/accomodation in the US.

Can anyone offer some advice on how easy/quick it is to apply for a non-immigration visa for a Thai citizen to the USA.
