Strange just shows how people are so different,  l like all those songs posted except for XCT one.

From memory just some l dislike are :-  Hardheaded woman by Elvis and that annoying Telstar instrumental crap.

Those songs Brits sing to on Spanish Holidays.Dont know the names but they all sound the same. 123 Shake Pineapple from a Tree...Plus those Roaming in the Glomming songs Scotsmen sing . What's Glomin something to avoid trading in

I have great memories of my gran taking a fancy to some "fruit juice" called Sangria then dancing in front of everyone.

The writer who wrote the song, Pete Seger hated this version. He wrote the song for his wife who performed it in English folk style. However, after the song became a hit in Evita it made him lots of money which he used in his fight against injustice around the world.

reminds me so much of growing up under british occupation - there was nothing wrong with that, the most prosperous time for my parents post war period.

but i still hate it, big time. it just makes my skin crawl...

I need some advice Johnniey,  if we agree the song is crap do we click like, and if so what do we do if we do like the song?
