where to find scrap auto parts?

Featured Replies

i'm looking for an old prop shaft for a project. i need the universal joint, don't really care what it came off so long as not too big, something from a pickup would be fine.

i've never really seen a scrap yard in these parts, what happens to smashed up cars? i know someone is recycling the parts somewhere?

thx steve

this is the phuket forum, so i would think a bit far

I've never seen one either.  Do they even exist here, or are they just in BKK? For a solution, usually a local garage will know where to find a part if you can show them what you need.
