Kudos to the Royal Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs! My wife needed a passport extension from five to 10 years, so off we go to Chang Watana Road. Turns out they're issuing the new "e-passport" now so she needed an entirely new one. Oh, oh, sez I, long wait in store now.

Not so! We arrived during the lunch hour and were out the door 45 minutes later, they'll EMS the new passport to the house.

Sure wish other ministries here in Thailand worked so well, and in such decent surroundings.
