I live in Pattaya and urgently require the services of a good electrician who will be capable of not only doing a good job but also giving me advice on my existing installation. Frankly I am sick of guys that turn up with a couple of tools in a Big C plastic bag and whose idea of extending cables among other things is to twist the wires together and if you are lucky bind the join with some adhesive tape. If anyone reading this has first hand experience of a reliable tradesman then please let me know. Finally the ability to communicate in English is a must. When my wife deals with so called tradesmen here nothing is ever done the way I want it and we invariable end up arguing. Incidentally many months ago I did vow, for whatever reason, not to post on TV again but in the absence of the classifieds it is necessary for me to go against this vow.

AJ has provided the name of the company. It is run by an Englishman and to date I have no reason to doubt his company's capabilities to do the work that I require. I did not pursue the second possibility because it was apparent the company was not a specialist electrical contractor.
