Tried to tell Cap One that I'd once again be traveling abroad. Here's what they said:

With the added security of your Capital One chip card, you don’t have to tell us when and where you’re traveling, inside or outside the United States.

 

Good.

   That's good to hear.  But at least for me even when my two CapOne credit cards were "not" chipped (cards the wife and I use several times per week here in Bangkok for around 5 years) I never provided any foreign travel notice.
