Hello all

 

Is anyone aware of the bus times from Vientiane to Nakhon Ratchasima?  we want to travel after picking our passports from the Thai Consular - between 1pm - 3pm on a Friday.

 

I guess there might be some international buses but also another way or heading to the border and onwards?

Easy to get bus to Udon then change for Udon/Korat bus

There is a bus which serves Vientiane-Korat. It leaves from the bus station in Vientiane. I've taken it once and was satisfied with the service. IF my memory serves me correctly, it only runs twice a day. In the morning and again in the evening (it might have changed since I've used it).

When you're finished, just check the departure times. If they don't suit you, simply take a bus to Udon bus station and change there to a bus heading to Korat (or Khon Khen and change there again to a bus heading to Korat).
