I wondered what the best non-specific airline lounge was at Suvarnabhumi is? By that I mean lounges accessible for people who aren't flying business but have some sort of pass or credit card they can use at the lounge.  I noticed there are lots of Louis Tavern lounges, are these the only ones available? Are some better than others or is there some other lounges apart from these?

I noticed when flying domestic there aren't any Louis Tavern lounges available and you seem to be restricted just to airlines lounges, has anyone else noticed that?

The Louis Tavern lounges are OK....a few snacks hot and cold and beer/wine/soft drinks.....OK if its free but no way would I pay to sit in one.

I used the LT lounge on G concourse a few years back,  I had a 3 hour delay on Emirates when the original flight was already at silly o'clock in the morning.  Main attraction to me was the smoking room inside the lounge (although I've given up since then).  Fairly limited food and drinks, 900 baht for 2 hours, think it is more now.  Certainly wouldn't make a habit of it.
