Can a wall mounted TV be effective theft-proofed?

I've seen a local shop to me that appears to have a large flatscreen on the wall outside where the family sit.

I'm not sure if they're taking it down each night but it seems like a lot of effort to do that.

If it can be done securely it's something, I'd like to do in my garden.

Is it possible?

Thanks

They probably have mounting bolts through the wall - not even have to buy a mounting unit to do that - just 4 bolts long enough to fit.

Hmm. Interesting but not the approach I'd want to take for myself at home.

I'll have a look and see if I can see any evidence of bolts on the inside wall the next time in the shop.

Still, I'm open to any ideas about how I could securely set up a TV in my outside seating place....

This type of mount if directly on wall, as many are, makes it almost impossible to remove set without access to the pull strings to release bottom clamps.  If you have enough time and effort it could be done but may take two people as both sides have to be released.
