SuperHot Chilli Growing, Now get Maggots

Featured Replies

Hi

I've maybe 15 Habernero/Reaper type plants but this year all the fruits either drop from the plant non-ripened or if ripened have a maggot inside.

Google talks about Pepper Maggots, do we get them in Thailand ? Cant find references to it ? If so looks like I have to CULL !

Anyone else come across this here in LOS ?

Cheers

SB

Hello All, I haven't had toe problem, but I try to spray every week, either

neem or wood vinegar. I have some brown habs that are struggling with

the rain'sssssssss and more rain.

I can't grow Habaneros at all. Most chillies start off fine then get to the stage where I have to spray regularly.

Hello All, we are moving to the farm in a few months, so I started

earlier than usual, but it's been very wet this year, so no anchos for

turkey day. I've got a few white habs and brown that still crawling

and may perk up if we get 5 or 6 days of sun.

As I said the plants are just hanging on.

Brown Habs, and serranos the wife planted in dirt at the farm.

City and farm chilies were sprayed with wood vinegar.

That's exactly what mine looked like when they were growing at all. I actually tore them out this morning.

Hello Rice! Just out of curiosity, what size growbags do you use for your peppers?

Hello All, where you able to stop your problem?

My problem has ended with a heavy shower last week, now sunny days

and cool nights.  Weekly spraying of wood vinegar for pests.

My plants still look like shit, but are loving the new weather and more blossoms.
