Basically we have about 40 mattresses plus curtains etc that should be steam cleaned (every year) and it works out to be quite costly to contract a company to do it professionally. Was thinking to buy a machine and do it ourselves. Anyone have any experience in regards to machine types? Quality and ease of use etc? Can't find much in Thailand except on lazada.

If you buy a  Karcher steam cleaner, you might consider from an authorized dealer or from KTW.  I own a Karcher high pressure washer with an induction motor and it has worked fine since 2007.  The smaller pressure washers with "universal motors" are a short term product.    https://www.ktw.co.th
