Missing channels on psi box

Featured Replies

Hi, the gf has the basic psi box, red satellite dish, but since last month a lot of her previously "free to air"! channels disappeared, any help in restoring them greatly appreciated!

This was not perhaps due to mourning period?  Suspect most should be back now if that was the case.

By red antenna suspect using Ku band and this is there list of channels

Has a reprogram been done on box?  Sometimes they do a realignment and have to tune stations in again and perhaps if never turn off might case a problem.   Not sure of code to do manually with the box you use but just killing power supply for awhile and then starting again might do it.

Thanks for the response lopburi3, turned out needed the lnb replaced, the fact that problem arose around the time of the Kings demise didn't help in diagnosis of the issue. Also I mistakenly thought it was the red dish system but actually black dish but all look to be working now. Kenny

I had that happen a few weeks ago on my C-Band large screen dish with a close lightning hit - LNA has horizontal and vertical polarity and one was lost so all the channels using those transponder were gone.  Also lost one PSI box (have 7 sets) - I also thought they must be having problems as other channels were fine.
