Computer Parts in Chiang Mai

Featured Replies

Anyone know where in Chiang Mai to buy computer parts? My laptop hard drive is dead.

Try in Manee Nopparat road , soi 3. "Computer Plaza".

Thank you! I went there last night and was shocked by the large selection and huge number of vendors. I also saw JIB has two stores inside there. In fact, I'm quite upset with JIB because they shipped me used dead-on-arrival (doa) hard drive purchased on Lazada.com. The drive came with 3 years warranty which I thought was manufactured warranty. Is there any where to buy a non pirated laptop hard drive in Thailand?

Let's move this over to the Chiang Mai forum.  A link will be left in the General forum also.

ground floor of pantip plaza . shop closest to the elevator .

Try 'Magic' in Pantip Plaza.

Go up the escalator turn right and shop is down the bottom.

Good attitude and polite friendly service.

First, Lazada has a DOA return policy: have you tried  to use it ? Second, JIB is a big enough chain to handle returns; what's happened with them ? And, last, there's usually no problem ... except the wait for the drive to come back ... sending drives back to the manufacturer for replacement via any number of shops, but JIB should handle that for you.

To assist you, we need more information. Is the drive obviously damaged ?
