I am sure that they were migrant workers from Cambodia who brought the copy to Thailand when working here, not to forget their family member! It is really the same victim!

I like to surf.  Did you see any surfable waves???

Halfaboy.  Thanks very much for continuing to post your photos.  They are fantastic.

I like to surf.  While at the beach (I assume you visited) did you see any surfable sized waves.

Bulldozer Dawn, I'm afraid I have to disappoint you. I have been many times to Myanmar and travelled to various parts of the country. However, I have never been to beach areas.

I will continue posting pictures now and then. The problem for me is selecting as I have thousands of pictures all (in my opinion) worth showing to the outside world.

As said before Myanmar is an magnificent country, the biggest open air museum in the world. Everywhere you go you will see the most amazing things from daily life to sceneries.

Hi Bulldozer,

I don't know anything about surf , but .... But I think u can discover beaches and surfable waves in center of Vietnam;

remember the movie " Apolalypse Now " , there is  a moment in it where soldiers or marines are surfing .

I think this movie was made in philipine, not in vietnam, not sure!

Look nice the myanmar beaches, these pics are like spanish beaches in 1970.

Not in Vietnam, it's sure; but it's a romance story about what happened during that war ;

so I'm pratically sure there were american soldiers who were practiced surf in Vietnam ..in these provinces in the center of the country: Da nang , Thua Tien  , Quang Tri, Dong Ha

Charlie dont surf!!!!!

I would imagine up near Dawei May- Oct u might find some waves as same shore as West coast of Thailand,

On Maung Magan beach there is one really nice resort and a few smaller beach front bungalow places and Excellent, fresh, cheap seafood.
