HI,

 

I've got a rooted Samsung SM-601 Note 2014 bought in Thailand that still has Kitkat firmware. I wanted upgrade to at least Lollipop if possible? I can only find firmware for various regions in world, nearest being India to Thailand for a firmware Odin upgrade.

 

Will the India firmware be OK in Thailand?

Having Thai language is useful but not important as English mostly used.

I installed the newer Samsung Lollipop ROM with Odin and it worked straight away, copying all my settings, languages that I had before onto new ROM settings. Very worthwhile update with no help at all from Samsung.
