Pharmacy in Maha Sarakham

Featured Replies

Looking to get some prescription medicines so am seeking a large well stocked pharmacy in the Maha Sarakham area.

Cheers

Go to one of the hospitals in town and see a doctor. It looks like they all have a good selection of medicines. The best one I think must be Maha Sarakham International Hospital (private).

Norlund,

Thanks for that, was exactly what I did. Strange how the same medicines cost 3 times as much as in Australia. We live and learn.

Have you checked whether the meds you need are on prescription in Thailand?

Sorry to say, but private hospitals are the most expensive source for meds in Thailand.

Just made this experience again with my wife you got two weeks of meds for 2500 Baht.

I checked what it is and pretty certain it won't be much more than 400 Baht in a pharmacy.

Would you care to name the meds?

If so you could open a separate thread in the health forum.
