I think that next year, instead of the POTY being "Poster of the Year" contest, it should be...

anything but "POTY" which i associate with "potty". the same applies to "POTUS"

Right, and then I disappear. Not going to happen.

In 2007, a user named "Istandforjustice" simply disappeared.

Transam must have hosted a party at his house and got the whole village to vote for him after singing their favourite Val Doonican song on the karaoke.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO......

The word on the street is The Order of 8 Dots is a transcendental portal to another dimension.

Having 8 dots has nothing to do with being a forum "good boy/gal"...I am testament to that theory....

Whadyamean, you have 8 dots, don't tell me you deny your membership in this ancient order.

He does seem to be pulling away...

As he once chided his mother when she pondered why he was taking so long in the bath, "It's mine and I'll wash it as fast as I like!"

It appears, I think, to be an indicator of behaviour. The more dots the better behaved the poster, fewer dots means the poster has been previously cautioned or sent on holiday, it lets us all know whether a poster is worth replying to and/or the likelihood they might become abusive.

Sort of a scarlet letter?

You, like me, have only 6 dots, so what did you do to lose two?

You could always buy a couple of mine!

BTW As a writer, I am hireable to put together inauguration speeches, and I'll even include a specific spin if you have one.

Current work permit specific to task?

Apology for early return from rehab, I cannot help myself controlling this vice.

Suppose a bit off topic but I am having one of those "thoughtful" days....Yeh I know that's rare...:stoner:...........But was thinking Trans you have nearly striped up another year on this planet...For sure being retired with no hobbies I want to do but can't fund  really pisses me off, so TVF has given me a 'stage' to do something that costs nothing and perhaps my printed words have helped someone along the line...

I get into trouble with staff at times but I cannot help being me.......

Sorry, my point.....When I have these sit back thoughts about my trials and tribulations a song always comes into my head...NO I AM NOT GOING TO SING IT.....Just listen to my link, ALL of it till the end...The song says it all for many...

The song that Liverpool FC stole from Celtic.

To heck with Liverpool and Gerry and the Pacemakers. Rodgers & Hammerstein were just a couple of New Yorkers -- Original Broadway show of Carousel 1945 -- movie version in 1956
