How many christians and Russians stay in Phuket during xmas time? Lots of them with children and for a few months. yes, fake tree is easy way. But real is nicer.

I guess hotels bring it from BKK.

Russians celebrate christmas in January 7th. Their trees might have not come over here yet.

The scandinavian trees would be dedicated to a Pagan tradition, like KB previously explained. In fact the celebration which is translated to Christmas, is Jul or Joulu up north. The big day is 24th, not 25th of December.

And how much would a Christmas tree imported into Singapore cost when it gets reexported into Thailand?

Methinks along the lines of a gazzilion dollars. Or baht, or whatever.

It is in sing $

Low and behold! Wonders will never cease! Heavens above! You don’t say!

homeWorks are selling real, live Christmas trees, imported from Canada. They look good.

Four sizes: the smallest being about 1.8 metres and the tallest about 3 metres.

Prices from B4000 to B7000.

They even have a nifty base which you fill with water, complete with big screws to stabilise the tree.

They’ll be selling thermal underwear and hot water bottles next.
