Gunfire Reported In Ekkamai After Truck Plows Through Checkpoint

I note that the lorry owners insurance has a limit of 600,000 Baht for damage caused to third parties, so the owners of all 41 vehicles involved have to claim out of that pot, some vehicles seem to have been pretty extensively damage and will probably be written off, not a very big pot. Owners of affected vehicles will need to commence civil litigation for anything not met from the truck owners insurance, I can only imagine how long that will take.
I'm assuming owners with first class insurance will be covered by their own insurance.
