2 Yr Old Fino spluttering then stopping?
My wife's brother is one who can diagnose and fix things. He had his own little bike repair shop in Loei years back. Some of the local farang bikers trusted him to work on their big bikes. (LGMC - Loei Gentlemen's Motorcycle Club) A dozen years ago we sponsored him to come to the USA where he worked as a cook in a Thai restaurant for years. Then one day he walked across the street to a Honda motorcycle dealership and got a job offer on the spot. He's way ahead of the other mechanics in the shop in terms of knowledge and experience. He laughs about the other parts changers who can't even change a tire or clean a carb. He gives me credit for his interest in motorcycles - I've known him since he was 12 years old. -

Laken Riley "event" looks like another hoax
According to Internet blogger Miles Mathis, it is a hoax. https://mileswmathis.com/laken.pdf Excerpts: Well, that's just an appetizer. More, much more, at the link. Miles Mathis makes a hobby of debunking hoaxes and their associated legal "soap operas". Fun reading. I hope there are lots of thoughtful comments, especially from any lawyers seeing this. And, since this is a forum about Thailand, I'm wondering how we might identify similar machinations here. And what the motives might be. (Or do we just say, "all of them are" and the motive is money and power? I expect that would cover everything.) - Old Curmudgeon -

The Decline of Free Speech: How the UK Became a Third-Class Nation
I agree with Lucy Connolly's views, though I would be careful of saying anything about "setting fires" or "brown faces". There are lots of people with brown faces doing important jobs in the UK, ie docters, nurses, etc, etc, there is no one more against illegals in the UK than me, ie people arriving and being put up in hotels at the taxpayers expense.
