Plenty of laptop repair shops at pantip plaza.

I think he knows that already....he's looking for a reccomendation as to which one would be best to go to.

Not sure if this is any help or not.

The shop I have used before is in Fortune tower, not in Pantip Plaza, but I've had good service a couple of times.

Its called ProCorner Co. Ltd., on the 3rd floor.

i ended up going to procorner in fortune mall. the guy there, Nick, was very professional and helpful; he speaks good english, explained the options, told me what he would do, how much it would cost and how long it would take - all accurate. he rang me when he said he would. and he fixed my computer! (am i really in thailand...?!)

highly recommended.

Nice to read this.  I've recommended Pro Corner many times on this forum and have never had any negative feedback.
