Some look like they have been poured into their uniforms and somebody forgot to shout WHEN. Just like they cheat in their entrance tests to get in, maybe they cheat on their proper clothes sizes too.

If this latest announcement is fully implemented it will help to drive down the carnage out on the roads were to many drivers thinking the law does not apply to them. Can't argue with a camera pay up and shut up and have a safe day.

" Eighty eight stations in the capital will be arming themselves with quality cameras "

will the quality cameras be available for collateral to secure gambling loans?

think it's a good thing, they can catch more people in one day and no arguments. Another positive thing is that if the fine is mailed then the money may end up where it belongs and not in someone's pocket.

Education is the key.

The problem is, how do you educated millions of angry morons?

You offer them a referendum. And then blame them when it all goes wrong...

There will never be any sort of proper policing or law here at all. Nobody is in control. No law on the roads for jumping red robots or speeding, only catch farang and fine them for no helmets. How many people in a day do I see in Cherng Talay and laguna riding scooters without shirts on? Yes farangs. Law against that...where?

No business on the beach? Well there is another joke a minute.

Got rid of Catch Beach Club on Surin beach did they??? Twin Palms promptly rebuilt it under the new name of Mont Azure.

So everybody bend over, here comes another middle digit in the face of no law.

Utter contempt is all around, so stop with the silly ideas of very expensive cameras to do proper police work.

Wake up and get real please.

I installed a dash camera filming what happens in front of the car and another one filming the driver (picture and audio). Been stopped almost daily in Pattaya for breathalyzing (which is OK as I don't drink and drive) but had all sorts of funny queries on "new rules" and "fines", running (untrue) red lights - the works!

Once you point to the camera filming what happens at the drivers window and telling Somchai that the entire conversation is recorded with a microphone in the upper right corner of the vehicle's inside they all, without exception, just walked away.

Just love it; my retaliation gizmo which I should have installed years ago.

Weldone Sydebolle. I have cameras, both way facing and yes it scares off the bad cops almost instantly. Works a treat.

Social media is the only way to get action and policing done properly.

Hand held cameras that won't be held long.

Cameras mounted near traffic lights would work better!

On the traffic lights you mean, and auto set to snap pics of anyone jumping the lights after red, also apply to pedestrian crossings, then of course you must also chase up people with no registration plates, and no lights at night, then motor bikes going against the traffic, but as usual knee-jerk reaction that will go knowhere, and soon be forgotten! as in all these things the bib would have to do their job, then expensive cameras would not be needed.
