If no other answers, your last resort options are:

  • Phone Brent (US co-proprietor of Outside Inn Guest House); many Americans use Outside Inn and he may be doing something special, or maybe he has a premium room left at about 850 baht. Outside Inn is the only hotel I know of in Ubon (and I know a lot of them) that carries the full range True Visions Platinum package
  • Set yourself up with an IPTV (internet protocol) package that promises NFL. I don't have details myself but I'm sure if you re-framed a question in a non-Issan-specific forum, someone would help

I use NFPS IPTV. 100$ a year. Full range of US and UK tv. Will be watching at home (Warin)
