Hi all. My first post here. I've been visiting Pattaya for a holiday 2/3 times a year for about 4 years now.

One of my treats late afternoon is a cup of tea and cake. I've found a few nice places such as the little place in the front of the baruquda hotel and the chains such as coffee club and s&p are nice too, but I wanted to ask you guys of any "local secrets" of any nice places to go for a nice pot of tea and a cake late afternoon?

Thanks in advance for any replies.

Bon Cafe near the Coffee Club on Pattaya/Naklua Road. Further up there is Baba Eating House next to the Aiyara Palace Hotel. Their apple crumble is very good.

Loaf any branch either on klang or soi LK. Although the cost of the tea is way too much at 95 baht.

Bake and Brew on soi excite is a firm favourite for so getting there early is advisable.

Chuam Chim on Jomtien Soi 5 (same soi as Immigration). Walk into soi 5 from the beach and it's on your left after 50-100 metres, just before Simple SImon's. Nice cream teas on a warm afternoon at a good price. Just Google it for more info.

I love Bake n Brew but I've had countless visits where the place is full inside. So, another option is 'Malamute' just opposite the entrance to Pattaya Memorial hospital. This place is smaller but I'm usually able to get a table.

Please visit the hopper at Naklua. It is located in soi Naklua 16. They serve home made cake in the garden.

The balcony restaurant and bakery is other recommend, located on north pattaya.

La baguette is well known for both local and foreigner,  there are 2 branches at naklua (woodland resort) and Pratumnak road.

La Boulange is real  french patisserie, located on third road near pattaya klang.
