Anybody know the cost of transfering the name on a log book (blue book).

It is the same cost as if you were to sell it.   The Land Transport Office will value your vehicle and you will pay according to the value.  LTO have value/tax tables.

I believe it's 500 baht for every 100,000 value of the car.
