             What's the procedure to transfer the electricity bill out of the old condo owners name and into mine new owner. Are there any costs involved?

 

              Is it also possible to pay the electricity bill online? Either through an app or through an online banking site.

Depends on whether the condo manages your usage or if your direct to the PEA. Contact them both.

We set a direct debit with the PEA to pay our bills. Nothing worse than to be cut off when you DON'T receive the bill!

Why do you want to change the name?

 

My meter is still in the previous owners name. I had no problem having it paid automatically from my bank account, just showed the bank the last bill. It has worked well for 15 years now.

 

It icing on the cake, is that the Bank even made a typo in my name, but nobody seems to care, the bill gets paid every month. 

 

If you really want to change the name, just go to the MEA office at Chitlom. It might cost you somewhere around 4,000 baht.
