I have a friend trying to call me from U.S.A. , but no success. My Thai cell phone number is 083 111 xxxx. Does anyone know the code. Country code of thailand is 66. Should I leave out the leading zero of my local number ??

as you will know the system changed from a 9 digit to a 10 digit number - with the addition of "8" so...

0066 (no leading zero) "8" then your number should work.

Try using the old number (the one without the '8'). For some reason, my service (TollThai) won't work using the new system.
