TOT Pattaya install fiber without visiting and talking to useless people at any office just like AIS in BKK ?

Featured Replies

Hi,

In Bkk we just need to register online to have the tech guys come and install fiber, sign papers, and finished.

Is it possible around Pattaya also or will I have to talk to anybody who knows nothing like it always happen ?

Tot now has good offers, but are they still old style public company that didn't understand that we are now in 2017 ?

Thank you for your feedbacks, as I don't like to get angry I do not use any service that needs me talking to them.

Umm .... with that attitude and unwillingness to talk to any service provider, lots of luck finding one.

well i am happy you told us   because i fear that  you would get very angry talking with  me  Sir you sound like a pompous git   how would you rate your reply  very angry----- not so very angry ---or just a little bit   very angry  ???

Then what in the world are you doing living in a foreign country

Before you came here did you expect everything to be in you home language

I sure would not like to be behind you at Immigration when you refuse to talk to them

I think folks above are misreading the OP's post/intent.

It's not about dealing in Thai language vs home country language.

It's about the convenience and efficiency of placing orders/services online, as opposed to having to go to the local TOT office where the staff probably don't know their heads from their a**, and couldn't care less about assisting you as a potential customer.

Tot in Pattaya phoned us to ask if we wanted to upgrade to fiber, same price as old 10mb service. The techies brought the forms with them when they came to instal. Very good service with knowledgeable staff.

Is the Fibre speed to international sites any better than your previous (presumably) ADSL line ?

I feel the OP's pain.  While they have always been polite and even apologetic, calling the guys I get my internet from has always been an exercise in frustration as they make promises that won't be kept and suggest replacing components that are fine.  Fortunately, if and when the tech guys do show up at my place, they usually solve the problems with nary a word spoken.

Thank you ! At least a useful reply !

So no need to visit their office.
